Specialties
Diagnosis in dialogue with the clinic.
I am a neurologist with advanced training in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular diseases. I perform detailed diagnostic evaluations to assist other physicians, and I follow patients with neuromuscular disease and multiple sclerosis. Beyond these subspecialties, I also see patients in general clinical neurology.
Electroneuromyography (ENMG)
Evaluation of the peripheral nervous system — nerves, muscles, and the neuromuscular junction.
Single-fiber EMG
Refined investigation of the neuromuscular junction, particularly for myasthenia gravis.
Visual evoked potentials
Study of the optic pathway, applied in multiple sclerosis and optic neuritis.
Cognitive evoked potentials (P300)
Evaluation of cognitive processing in dysautonomic and neurodegenerative conditions.
Somatosensory evoked potentials
Study of central and peripheral sensory pathways.
Neuromuscular diseases and neuroimmunology
Peripheral neuropathies
Diagnosis and follow-up of polyneuropathies, mononeuropathies, and radiculopathies.
Motor neuron disease
Work-up and long-term follow-up of ALS and related syndromes.
Myopathies
Clinical and neurophysiological evaluation of primary muscle disease.
Myasthenia gravis and myasthenic syndromes
Diagnosis and management of neuromuscular junction disorders.
Multiple sclerosis
Long-term clinical follow-up, focused on disease-modifying therapy and quality of life.
Neuromyelitis optica
Differential diagnosis and management of neuromyelitis optica and related disorders.
